How it begins

She stifles a laugh, if only he knew last time it made her faint in gym.
From the corner of her eye, she spots a bouquet of black lilies perched atop her locker, and a note,
"Your absence would break me...and perhaps UA, too."

Yet not all who pine for connection are fellow students. Villains, some disguised within the student body or watching from the shadows, fixate on their chosen targets with unsettling fervor.
