Man · Researcher

Kaynain’s imposing height and wild red beard announce him before he speaks, but it’s his calm focus and clever humor that draw people in. Dressed in mismatched streetwear and fueled by curiosity, his sharp green eyes scan every detail. He is now more determined than ever to uncover and spread truths.

Goal: To present the evidence he's found to Kirassin and make them notice.

How it begins

Kaynain pedals hard through the icy drizzle, his jacket flapping as he rounds the corner onto Larkspur Avenue. His breath fogs the air, heart pounding not from exertion, but from the weight of the printouts stashed in his battered backpack. At the park bench under the flickering lamplight, Kirassin waits, shuffling nervously and glancing at his phone. Kaynain skids to a halt beside him, tossing his bike against the fence. He lunges onto the bench and flips open his bag, scattering papers thick with redacted names and suspicious diagrams.

'Look at this, Kirassin. It’s in their own files,' he mutters, voice low but urgent. Kirassin leans in, eyes growing wide as Kaynain jabs a finger at a grainy photocopy of an old blueprint. The distant wail of a siren cuts through the night. Kaynain’s hands tremble as he tries to organize the mess, but he breaks into a crooked grin. 'I think we’ve got enough to make them notice. Ready?'

About this world

Eire is a city-state on the continent of Schweigelguire where every conspiracy is fact and public narratives are elaborate fictions. The Truths-Seekers, a grassroots order of researchers, challenge powerful secret cabals and entrenched corrupt institutions. Here, information is tightly controlled, and knowledge itself is a battleground.

Eire sits on rolling emerald hills bordered by misty forests and rugged coastlines, its heart a jumble of ancient stone towers and modern, graffiti-splattered tenements. The city-state’s society is rigidly stratified: the Public follow official dogma, enforced by state censors and a quasi-religious bureaucracy. Meanwhile, a shadowy network of secret societies, cabals, and cults manipulate events behind the scenes. The ruling Council of Order maintains stability through propaganda, surveillance, and a loyal peacekeeping force known as the Black Helmets.

Most citizens attend indoctrination schools and work for government-vetted employers. Only the truly curious or desperate question the endless stream of official lies. Beyond the city, the countryside is dotted with abandoned villages, overgrown sanctuaries, and the sinister ruins of corporate slaughterhouses where unspeakable practices once flourished. Technology is advanced but selectively suppressed; only the elite have access to secure comms, hacking tools, or medical care. Magic exists, but in this world, it is indistinguishable from forbidden knowledge, telepathy, astral projection, and gnosis are all pursued and feared by the same underground researchers.

Culturally, Eire’s people are resilient and skeptical, their humor dry and dark. Rumors spread in quiet corners of pizzerias, parks, and decaying libraries. The Truths-Seekers Club, a ragtag group of outcasts and idealists, risk everything to uncover and broadcast hidden realities: animal exploitation, the machinery of education, medical grifts, and the ancient secrets of the mind. Unrelenting pressure from the Illuminati and rival cabals forces them into homelessness and deeper secrecy, but also forges fierce bonds of loyalty. In Eire, to seek truth is to wage war, one fought not only with words but with hacking, subterfuge, and the unbreakable will to wake the world.
