Protagonist
Malika
Malika is a reserved but intense hero student with alert, almond-shaped hazel-green eyes. She has a slim, athletic build and moves with coiled control, projecting confidence that masks her deep uncertainty about her origins. Now a student at UA High, she is determined to become a licensed hero.
Goal: To become a licensed hero alongside her cousin Pony Tsutsunori.
How it begins
Malika presses her palm against the cool glass of UA High’s entrance, her reflection caught between the school’s bold crest and Pony’s expectant gaze. Behind them, the campus buzzes with students in gleaming uniforms, a riot of voices and vibrant quirks on display. Pony taps her shoulder.
“C’mon, Mal, don’t just stand there gawkin’. We ain’t in Texas anymore.”
Malika draws a breath, shoulders squared beneath the unfamiliar blazer. The inside of the school is even louder: students spar in the courtyard, and a faculty member floats past, clipboard in hand. She catches a glimpse of All Might’s smiling portrait and feels her stomach twist, a mixture of nerves and excitement. Pony nudges her again, practically trotting ahead.
“Let’s find homeroom before someone mistakes us for tourists.”
A group of upperclassmen blocks their path, one with spiky red hair grinning wide.
“First years, huh? Think you’ll last?”
Malika meets his eyes, her voice steady.
“We’re here to become heroes.”
The hall’s electric tension wraps around her as she steps forward, Pony just behind. Somewhere, a bell rings, and the day begins.
About this world
Earth stands as a nexus for heroes and threats alike. The world is protected by two rival hero organizations: the privately-run Justice League, including legends from DC and My Hero Academia, and the government-backed Guardians of the Globe. Cosmic and terrestrial threats loom, but ordinary life continues beneath the shadow of superhuman conflict.
The world of United Earth: Heroic Age intertwines the vibrant cities of My Hero Academia’s Japan, the vast cosmopolitan sprawl of DC’s metropolises, and the looming presence of Invincible’s cosmic dangers. Tokyo’s UA High School is a magnet for aspiring heroes, especially since All Might and other top heroes hold seats on the international Justice League, a private coalition of the world’s finest from across all franchises. In the West, the Guardians of the Globe operate as NATO’s official response team, their rigorously selected members answering directly to world governments. America, split between their traditional superhero cities and the increasingly aware public, also houses the Graysons, whose family secret stretches to the stars.
Despite the heroic surface, society is anxious: quirks and powers are common, but only licensed heroes can legally intervene. The justice system is tangled with bureaucracy, public opinion, and hero politics. Space agencies, shielded from public view, keep careful watch for signs of Kryptonian, Viltrumite, or otherworldly intrusion. Most of the world remains blissfully ignorant of the universe’s grander, deadlier conflicts. However, reports of alien sightings, unexplained superhuman feats, and villainous activity are mounting, each threatening to tip the balance.
Daily life mixes the extraordinary with the mundane: powered teens train at academies, hero merch floods markets, and city skylines are marked by both shining hero headquarters and battle-scarred ruins. Culturally, Japan remains the epicenter for quirk studies, while America wrestles with the legacy of its classic caped icons. As darkness gathers at the fringes of the solar system and in the hearts of men, the next generation of heroes must rise to meet whatever comes.
